Milan Lucic Out 4-6 Weeks

Milan Lucic will be out 4-6 weeks after having surgery on his right thumb index finger yesterday confirmed by Bruins GM Pete Chiarelli. Lucic was placed on long term injury reserve last night. Joe Haggarty from WEEI's Big, Bad Blog released the information on twitter which was then confirmed.

Sucks for the Bruins and is a pretty big loss, although being on the long term injury reserve has a minimum of missing 10 games and 24 days of hockey.

I'll be updating this post as I hear more.
